House Republicans have announced their 2012 Budget for America which, according to my opinion, is another “Take From The Poor And Give To The Rich” plan that will only make life more comfortable for those who already have everything and will make the rest of us scrimp, save, worry and struggle a little harder than we already are.
As I expected, the new Republican Budget will include…(Cough! Hack! Choke!)—”Entitlement Reform.”
What a surprise!
According to reports I have read, some prominent Republican Leaders are complaining that the Budget proposed by the President they are trying to oust from The White House (Their number one political priority as I recall) stifles job growth.
Tell me, if you can, how many jobs the Republicans have added to the Economy since Obama was elected?
Haven’t many of them sent most of the jobs they might have created offshore so they can realize greater gain from labor sources who are willing to more or less become their indentured servants?
Some Republicans like to hold up Ryan’s controversial “Roadmap To America’s Future” as the idyllic political plan. Of course there are those like myself who see that proposal as a “Roadmap Filled With Pot Holes.”
Well,, I heard that this new “Budget” will probably die in The Senate and that the Republicans will, no doubt, be taking it back to their constituencies for a “Sales” campaign.
Watch out folks! The Republicans may be knocking on the door of your heart to try and convince you just exactly how much you must give up for the “Good” of America and the “Job Creators.” (The filthy rich.)
When many Republicans speak about their plans for the future of America, I have no problem with them speaking their opinions. It is the American thing to be able to speak one’s own opinions.
What I object to about “Conservative Speak” is how many of them invent their facts to support their case as they go along.
Think about that one!
For example: Some Republicans tend to want us to believe that Social Security is part of the deficit problem.
Social Security is presently fully funded til at least 2031 and if the fund were made impervious to “Borrowing” and “Raiding,” it would probably never be in any trouble at all.
The fact as I see it is this: The proposed Republican “Budget” plan for 2012 works hard for the wealthiest citizens and for the Corporations while taking even more away from the middle class, the lower income workers and the poor…and students..and everyone who ain’t rich elite already.
In my opinion many of the Republicans and Conservatives are experts on a couple of things. (Got to give credit where credit is due– they are expert on some things.)
They seem to be expert on hating The President and on putting the screws to middle and low income families.
America could fix the economy much more easily just by pulling out of Afghanistan and Iraq (Many of them don’t like us much anyway according to what I have heard), stop sending money to countries who can’t really tolerate us (Foreign Aid) and by reforming the Income Tax Code so that everyone pays their fair share. (Let The Richer Republicans and their flush friends have a more significant part in what they like to call “Shared Sacrifice.” That’s my opinion about things.
I don’t know why so many Conservatives are so hesitant to consider raising taxes as a way to help fund the government. As I recall, their Hero, President Reagan raised taxes several times during his reign. I just don’t understand why Republicans and Conservatives cannot comprehend the necessity of having revenues to operate the government with.
But, as may be commonly known by now, the very mention of “Raising Taxes” sends many of them into truly rear-end-tightening convulsions.
Yep! The Republican 2012 Budget is ready and waiting and they are going on the road to sell it to America.
